Backyard Birding Spot Illustration Series

Oftentimes you can find me holding my phone up to the sky trying to record and identify whatever bird call I had just heard. I'm really into birds, they're just the coolest to me! As a kid, I'd go birding with my grandpa down by the lake near their house and try to spot the different types of ducks waddling around. I've always had a connection to birds, and as sort of an homage to my grandpa, I've continued birding. It helps me feel connected to my roots and the natural world <3
